et une patinoire qui accueille le très populaire champion Philippe Candeloro et ses patineurs venus, le mardi 16 décembre2008, soutenir la candidature de Nice 2018.Après une démonstration des différents sauts par les patineurs présents avec Thierry Cerez et l'espoir niçois, Sandra Sitbon (3ème aux derniers Championnats de France de patinage à Colmar le 20 décembre 2008) et le quadruple Champion de France et Vice Champion du monde 1994 Philippe Candeloro, la troupe a présenté un merveilleux show aux spectateurs niçois.
Comme chaque année depuis plus de 47 ans, le Palais des Expositions présente son LunaPark avec plus de 20 attractions indoor pour le plus grand plaisir de tous.
Le dimanche 21 décembre 2008, pour le traditionnel bain de Noël, le 64ème en partenariat avec l'association Gregory Lemarchal pour lutter contre la mucoviscidose, les niçois ont démontrés leur courage en venant nombreux se baigner dans une eau fraîche (15°C).
Originaire du thermalisme antique, le bain froid en milieu marin est synonyme de fortifiant pour les Grecs et de tonicité pour les Romains, ce n’est qu’au XVIII siècle que ce fameux bain se répand en Europe et à Nice, dont le précurseur est Smollett en 1764. Près de trois siècles plus tard, le bain d'hiver fait toujours partie des habitudes de nombreux niçois comme aujourd'hui pour cette 64ème édition.
